The Ricoh GR
The Ricoh GR IV Digital has been my go to point and shoot camera for the past two years. It is often in my camera bag and a camera I use when I am with out with my family and just want some quick snaps without the hassle of lugging along my Hasselblad or Leicas. The Ricoh are my favorite point and shoots. The GR came out last year. The big difference with this new GR vs. the previous GR IV Digital is image quality. The sensor is a massive improvement allowing for higher ISO, bigger images and better night shooting. I wasn't planning to upgrade but I stopped to look. I had my GRD in hand and the guy at Yodobashi provided me an on the spot trade in price that was good enough to entice me to buy.

The highest ISO allows you to completely freeze subjects when shooting on the go.
It has a nice 28mm equivalent fixed lens. Perfect for snaps on the go...
I love how nice some trains stations are in Tokyo...
Korean x Italinao = interesting fusion mix. Tokyo has everything in terms of fusion food.
Tsutaya is such a surprise to me. I am shocked that in 2014 a video rental store still thrives. With iTunes, Google Play, YouTube and so much more who goes to a store to rent videos anymore?

The image quality on this camera is very impressive. I have intentionally put all images here straight out of the camera without any editing other than cropping.
The depth of field is fantastic on this little camera.
