Koop Cafe in Nakameguro and more!

Koop Cafe in Nakameguro and more!

I had the rare occasion to get out in my neighborhood and see a bit of Nakameguro at night.   I was on my own from dinner so headed over to Koop Cafe for a quick drink and a small bit to eat.  I love this place.   It sits right on Meguro River, it's quiet and the food is excellent.   The menus are all in Japanese and so is the communication but even if your Japanese isn't great, you'll be able to navigate your way around (not sure why this sign is in French). You can find Koop Cafe at KamiMeguro 1-5-10, 03-5725-6055.   Open from 11:30-3PM for lunch, 3PM-3AM, until 5AM on Saturday and Sundays.  Dogs are welcome!

OK, I had a big of comfort food but it was yummy.   The garlic sauce for the fries are awesome.    The pizza in this place is great as well.   In the past I have had a cheese pizza with honey.  Highly recommended.

The one thing that always humors me is the lack of respect and regard people give to the no bike parking signs.

Also I will be having my first exhibition on Sunday March 20th at 7PM at Tokyo Media International's 2011 Digital Photo and Film Exhibit.  You will need to sign up here if you are planning on coming.   The event is being held at the very cool Tokyo Graffiti in Roppongi located just 2 minutes from Midtown and the Roppongi Oedo Line station exit 7.   There will be 5 other photographers there as well as a short film exhibit.   Drop me a line if you plan on coming.
