Catching Up

My work has been keeping me extremely busy lastly.   A bit too busy some days it seems.   I feel like I just got back and fourth to the office.   I did find one very entertaining midweek release: reading the reviews of the Hutzler 571 Banana Slicer.  I will warn you now that you will be giggling to yourself for hours after you read some of them. I did find a little time for a blog redesign in my busy work schedule.  I hope you like the new design.  I also managed to finally set up a Facebook Page for ShootTokyo.  Please check it out...

Today's configuration:  Leica M-Monochrom with various lenses, Ricoh GR Digital IV

My favorite Kaiten Sushi place.  I eat here probably 3 days a week for lunch.   I love their Negitorimaki!

I also had a dinner at the Tokyo American Club last week.   I am growing to love their restaurant Decanter.

DANGER: Watch out for falling snow!

I love that even a week after the snow it is still there in the middle of the road.  Tokyo really has no idea what to do with snow...

I found a very cool Leica Notilux coffee cup!  I know it is a bit geeky but that's OK.   They are limited edition but you can find them on eBay if you look around.

There is lots of interesting photography events coming to Tokyo.  Currently Yokohama Museum of Art has a Robert Capa show going on between now and March 24th.  I am looking forward to seeing this.

The 35th ICS World Used Camera Fair is coming to Tokyo February 20th-25th.   If you live in Tokyo these shows are worth checking out.  Last year I picked up my Leica M6-J.   I have been thinking about picking up a second film camera.   I will get another Leica so I can use all of my lenses.   What do you think I should get?  A M3, M4, M5, M6, or an M7?
