Getting around to shooting

Getting around to shooting

I haven't shot much film lately.  Not as much as I like anyways.   I was able to get out a few weeks ago to catch up with my friend Pieter for our camera trade.  I love getting new photography gear by trading and not having to spend additional money. The beauty of new gear is it motivates you to go out and shoot.  Luckily I have a lot of shooting opportunities coming up in the next few days.  Tomorrow I am heading out for an afternoon of shooting with one of the sponsors of my Kickstarter project.  It will be nice to have a day of photography in Tokyo.  Monday-Wednesday I am heading to Fukushima and I am going to shoot the communities around there.    That will be 4 straight days dedicated to photography!  I haven't had that in such a long time.  I am really looking forward to it and finally getting around to shooting more.

Speaking of Fukushima my friend Pieter has been working on a project called SafeCast.org that has built crowd sourced radiation measurement networks..   They are doing a fundraiser on November 4th in Tokyo.   If you are looking for something to do there are a lot of great people to meet there.

Speaking of Peiter he was the one I met up with a few weeks ago to swap Leicas.  I got his lovely MP that I used for this post...

Today's Configuration: Leica MP with a Summicron 28mm f/2.0 shot on TMAX 3200 and TMAX 400@1600.
